Better than McDonalds English/Spanish

It was a hot morning and Janmarieth had arrived on a trip to Puerto La Cruz, she dedicated herself to looking for a good place to enjoy an exquisite breakfast.

He was debating between a traditional food place or a fast food chain, he went to Paseo Colón and finally decided that La Colmena would be the best option.

When she arrived, she was amazed to see the variety of arepas that were offered, there were arepas with corn dough mixed with yucca, auyama, ocumo or plantain, cooked over firewood; in addition to a variety of fillings such as avocado, shredded meat, chicken, shellfish and fish. After much indecision, he finally opted for a corn arepa stuffed with plainsman cheese and a fried egg tortilla.

To accompany her arepa, Janmarieth decided to try the sugar cane guarapo, this traditional drink from Venezuela was made from fresh sugar cane and was a true delight.

While enjoying her snack, Janmarieth felt like a true Venezuelan, very proud to be able to taste one of her most traditional foods in a place like La Colmena, that was the true taste of the authenticity of a breakfast with arepas.

Era una mañana calurosa y Janmarieth había llegado de viaje a Puerto La Cruz,  se dedico a buscar un buen lugar para degustar un exquisito desayuno.

Estaba dudando entre un lugar de comida tradicional o una cadena de comida rápida, se fue al Paseo Colón y finalmente decidió que La Colmena sería la mejor opción.

Cuando llegó, se quedó maravillada al ver la variedad de arepas que se ofrecían, habían arepas con la masa de maíz ligada con yuca, auyama, ocumo o plátano, cocinadas en leña; además de una variedad de rellenos como aguacate, carne mechada, pollo, mariscos y pescado. Después de mucha indecisión, finalmente optó por una arepa de maíz rellena con queso llanero y tortilla de huevo frito.

Para acompañar su arepa, Janmarieth decidió probar el guarapo de caña de azúcar, esta bebida tradicional de Venezuela estaba hecha de caña de azúcar fresca y era una verdadera delicia.

Mientras disfrutaba de su merienda, Janmarieth se sentía una verdadera venezolana, muy orgullosa de poder degustar una de sus comidas más tradicionales en un lugar como La Colmena, ese era el verdadero sabor de la autenticidad de un desayuno con arepas.
