Hello friends, how are you? Hope you are well and healthy. I am starting my post by greeting everyone. Friends today I went to a one day workshop. This workshop was on emerging technology. Webel fujisoft vara conducted this workshopThis institution is located in Newtown, Kolkata.
This company mainly does 3D printing [commercially] and provides cyber security. Also they have their own server setup. A very important activity of this company is that they conduct courses for engineering students and give guaranteed jobs. Roughly a medium LPA [Lakh per Annum]. . The infrastructure of this institution is quite good. There are about four industrial 3D printing machines from Germany.
In this workshop we were very well informed that there is a bridge gap between the industry and the new engineers. And this has become a big problemAbout 60% of the students of the best institutes of the country are unemployed [engineers] the main reason is that they have a big gap with this industry. They cannot upskilled themselves according to the demand of the industry. So most of them get jobs and later the company throws them out.
In this age, to be honest, how many marks you get is not so important anymore. Times are changing a lot. Now the era is about how much skill you have. How effective this skill is in the current context is the real thing
So I reached the college by car first thing in the morning. It takes about one and a half to two hours to reach the college from my house. After reaching the college, we all reached Newtown by bus. Then our workshop started
