Bismillahir Rahmanir Rahim.
Assalamu Alaikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barkatuhu.
Dear friends,
I hope you are all well with the infinite mercy of Allah Almighty. I am also well and healthy to accept your prayers and the infinite blessings of Allah Almighty.
“If there is a sun, there will be plants and animals”
Since the beginning of human civilization, the sun has been considered a symbol of life, energy, light and creation. The basic basis of the life of every living being living on earth is the light and heat of the sun. Nature itself is a vast integrated system—where the sun, air, water, soil, plants, animals and humans are deeply related to each other. Based on this relationship, it can be said—if there is a sun, there will be nature; if there is nature, there will be plants and animals; and if there are plants and animals, the earth will be alive.
1. Sun: The source of life on earth
The sun is the main driving force of the current of life on earth. If the earth were immersed in darkness, life would not survive even for a moment.
Sunlight drives the process of making food for plants—photosynthesis.
The heat of the sun creates water vapor and completes the water cycle.
The temperature of the sun determines the weather, seasons, and climate of the earth.
The oxygen that animals consume is produced by plants formed due to the sun.
That is, if the sun does not exist—then life does not exist.
2. Nature: Safe habitat for life
Nature is a vast repository of biodiversity. The sun makes the earth suitable for life, and nature contains that life. Nature includes—
Forests, mountains, rivers, seas
Soil, water, air
Plants, animals, microorganisms
Nature takes the energy of the sun and converts it into biodiversity. Without sunlight, this wheel of nature would stop. Again, if there were no nature, there would be no means to harness the sun's energy.
3. Plants: Nature's Selfless Gift
Plants are at the center of the life cycle of the earth. They use sunlight to make food and keep the entire animal kingdom alive.
Food production through photosynthesis
Oxygen production
Environmental purification
Rain calling and water vapor creation
Prevention of soil erosion
Food supply to animals
No plants means no animals. No animals means nature is dead.
4. Animal world: The ongoing cycle of nature
Animals (including humans) are a dependent part of nature. They depend directly or indirectly on plants:
Herbivorous animals eat plants.
Carnivorous animals eat herbivores.
Omnivorous animals (such as humans) depend on both.
Animals maintain the balance of nature:
Seed dispersal
Decomposition of dead bodies
Fertilization of soil
Control of food chain
If plants are destroyed, animals will also be destroyed; if nature is destroyed, the benefits of the sun will not be useful.
5. Sun-nature-plants-animals: one complements the other
These four elements are deeply connected to each other. Without one, the other cannot survive.
a. Sun → nature The sun provides heat and light to nature. As a result— rain occurs and air movement is ensured
Climate is formed
b. Nature → plants
Plants are born and grow only when the soil, water, air and climate of nature combine.
c. Plants → animals
Plants are the food source of animals. In addition, the oxygen produced by plants is the source of respiration for animals.
d. Animals → nature
The activities of animals keep nature alive—fertilize the soil, spread seeds, and maintain the cycle of the environment.
This cycle is what maintains the biodiversity of the earth.
6. No sun - no life
If for some reason the sun becomes devoid of light, what will happen to the earth—
The temperature will drop below zero in an instant
Plants will not be able to metabolize and synthesize
Oxygen production will stop
Animals will die
Water will turn to ice
Therefore, no existence of life without the sun can be imagined.
7. What will happen if the environment is destroyed?
As a result of human excessive deforestation, pollution, cutting down trees and destruction of nature—
Floods, droughts, cyclones are increasing
Wildlife is becoming extinct
Temperature is increasing
Droughts and water shortages are occurring
The food chain is collapsing
The sun will still be there, but nature will not be there—as a result, plants and animals will also disappear.
8. Human responsibilities
Humans are the best creation of nature, so the responsibility is the greatest—
Planting trees
Reducing water, air and soil pollution
Conserving forests
Protecting wildlife
Using renewable energy
Humans will survive if nature survives.
After all, it can be said that the sun, nature, plants and animals are inseparable parts of each other. The sun makes the earth habitable with light and heat, nature transforms that energy into life, plants keep life alive by producing food, and animals maintain the balance of nature. In this way, the earth has survived for millions of years.
Therefore, the more nature can be protected, the safer the plants and animals will be, and humans will also live in peace.
