Killing people has now become a “profession”: a terrible social reality
Humans are the best creatures of creation. The value of human life is immense, priceless and sacred. But it is very sad but true, human life is being devalued the most in the present world. Today, killing people is not only a crime, but in many cases it has been established as a profession, business or a means of gaining power. This reality is extremely shameful and terrifying for civilized society.
The professional form of killing people
Once upon a time, killing was an emotional, sudden crime. But now it has become a planned, trained and paid job. Contract killers, professional terrorists, hired thugs—these words are now familiar and real in our society. People are being killed for money, power, or political gain without hesitation.
In many cases, killers get specific targets, complete the work within a specific time, and receive remuneration. This is no longer personal anger or revenge, but a cold-blooded professional activity.
Political assassination
One of the most horrific forms of killing people in the present day is political assassination. People are being killed for the sake of seizing power, expanding dominance, and suppressing opposition. Political parties are using professional assassins for their own interests. In this way, killing has become a natural part of politics.
Political assassinations do not just take a life; they also kill democracy, justice, and the fundamental rights of people.
Terrorism and Organized Crime
Terrorism is today an international network. Many terrorist organizations have turned killing people into a profession through regular training. Suicide attacks, bomb blasts, and genocide—behind all this is a cruel professionalism hidden in the name of ideology.
In addition, killing is deeply connected to organized crime such as drug trafficking, arms smuggling, human trafficking, etc. These gangs kill people without any hindrance to protect their own interests.
Greed for money and power
In today's world, money is everything. Greed for money is turning people into inhumane. Some are killing to seize land, some are killing to remove business rivals, and some do not hesitate to kill their own people for inherited property.
Greed for power blinds people. Killing people has become a kind of "strategy" to maintain power or reach power today.
Impunity and weakness of the law
One of the biggest reasons why killing people has become a profession is impunity. When killers know that they will not be punished, they become more reckless. Weak legal system, political influence, corruption—these are the reasons why criminals get away with it again and again.
The culture of impunity sends a terrible message to society—"You can get away with killing people even by killing people."
Social and moral decline
The decline in morality and values has made it easier to kill people. When the family, education system, and society fail in moral education, people become senseless. The distinction between good and evil is erased, humanity is lost.
Today, many people no longer consider killing a crime; rather, it has become a normal occurrence. We have become so accustomed to seeing news of killings in the media every day that it no longer moves us.
Misuse of technology
Although technology was created to make people's lives easier, its misuse has made killing people even easier. Modern weapons, surveillance technology, digital planning—these can now be used to carry out planned killings very easily.
The easy availability of drones, sniper rifles, explosives—these have made professional killings even more horrific.
Misinterpretation of religion and ideology
In some cases, killing people is being legitimized by misinterpreting religion and ideology. Religion never supports killing, but some extremist groups kill people in the name of religion and claim themselves as “heroes” or “martyrs”.
This distorted thinking spreads more violence in society.
Its terrible impact
When killing people becomes a profession, fear and uncertainty spread in society. Common people suffer from insecurity, lose faith, and human relationships break down. A murder harms not only a person, but a family, a society, and even a nation.
The way out
To get rid of this terrible situation—
We must ensure strict implementation of the law
We must break the culture of injustice
We must strengthen moral and human education
We must stop political violence
We must build a conscious society
Killing people can never be accepted as a profession. It is a symbol of the extreme failure of human civilization.
When killing people becomes a profession, civilization collapses. If we do not stand up against this violence now, we will leave a bloody, inhuman world for future generations. We must learn to value human life again. Because only when people survive will society survive, will humanity survive.
