Earth Day celebration

Earth Day celebration

My other photography today is about the Earth Day celebration. Earth Day is celebrated on 22nd April in schools to remind the students of their duties towards ‘Mother Nature.’ As a part of environmental education, "Go- Green" initiative was taken to engage the whole school community in making a difference. Earth Day was celebrated through educational and action-oriented activities that were really informative and strong efforts of students is motivational.

In some schools, it was celebrated by making posters and drawings about Save earth. Colouring activity and competition was conducted for Pre-primary students. Students of classes I and II made paper cut-outs of hands saving the earth. Students of Classes III and IV made beautiful badges of water. The students made paintings about the importance of afforestation, planting of trees and the need for everyone to put together their efforts and get into action, in protecting our environment. I took the opportunity and took pictures. Which I am going to share with my friends. I wish you were happy just seeing it.
