From the previous discussion, we have learned that the part of a woman's body which is not permissible to be exposed is her private parts and it is obligatory to cover it.
Therefore, in front of different men and also in the case of non-Muslim women - all the bodies except the face and wrists of the woman - the place of shame - must be covered. As it is necessary to keep the face and wrists open for work such as receiving and giving work, it is permissible to keep it uncovered as Imam Razi has written. In addition, it has been ordered to cover any part of the body which is not necessary to be exposed or done. Naturally, what is kept open and what needs to be disclosed is allowed to be kept open. Because the provisions of Islamic law are balanced, human welfare oriented. Imam Razi wrote:
Everyone agrees that it is essential to reveal the face and claws and that it is not considered as a secret part of women. However, it is not necessary to keep the legs open. So there is a difference of opinion as to whether it is considered as a secret organ of women.
As stated in the verse of Surah Noor, in the case of the above twelve classes of men, all the limbs except the ears, neck, hair, chest, arms and ducts should be covered. It has been allowed in the Shari'ah to reveal all these parts in front of them. Apart from this, it is not permissible to expose other parts of the body such as back, abdomen, penis, thighs, etc. in front of any man or woman except the husband.
This meaning of the verse is very close to the opinion of some Imams. Muharram For men, the place of shame of a woman is only between the navel and the knee. This is the limit for other women as well. According to some experts, the place of shame of a woman is not exposed to Muharram men just as much as it is during work. It is not uncommon for Muharram men to look at the parts of the body that are usually exposed when working at home.
God has commanded believing women to cover their bodies with a large sheet when they go out to do housework. As a result, their distinction from other infidels and women of bad character will be revealed to all. Allah has instructed His Prophet to inform all the Ummah about this. Irshad has
O Prophet! Tell your wives and daughters and the believing women to cover their bodies. This is a good approach. As a result, they will be recognized and no one will bother them.
In the age of ignorance, when women went out of the house, they kept some of their beauty - chest, neck, neck, hair, etc. open. People with evil characters would follow them. In this situation this verse has been revealed. It instructs the believing women to cover part of their headscarf so that these parts of the body are covered. And by looking at the external image, it is possible to recognize them as women of holy character. As a result, no hypocrite and shameless man will harass them and will not have the courage to do so.
The verse clearly mentions a reason. And that is to say, there is no reason for the girls to be intimidated, harassed, looked at by the characterless and wicked people, and no mistrust has been imposed on them. If anyone thinks so, he has no reason. Because naked or well-groomed woman or woman wandering in a lascivious and lewd manner always creates sexual arousal and lust in the mind of a man. Those who fight or hold hands with girls, they become greedy and lustful.
