The first and foremost principle of Islam in formulating the provisions of the Shari'ah is that all that Allah has created for man is halal and permissible. If any of the provisions of the Shari'ah are marked as 'haram' in the irrefutable, clear and proven declaration of the author, then it is haram only. But if an irrefutable declaration is not proved in any matter, or if no irrefutable declaration is proved from any document, or if it is not known from any document that something is clearly forbidden, then its basic condition will remain standing. He cannot be called haram. No weak hadith can be accepted as a document in this case.

It is not a myth that everything created by Allah is fundamentally halal. This is proved conclusively by the clear declaration in many verses of the Qur'an.
