Decaying Flowers

If you knew me, my poetry writing bit that is, you would know that sometimes I compose several single-versed poems in one post. I believe they happen to embody single stanzas because I get distracted very fast and I have learnt nothing sounds authentic if a pen is choking on my inability to string the audience through the flow of my rawness.

(a.)

I wore a tapestry of my scars
And sat under the stars
Long after
The sound of my laughter
Left the depths of my aching soul.

(b.)

For dead birds
To fall off a clear blue sky
The defeated clouds must have tried to save a few.

(c.)

Broken memories of us
Cling onto an inevitable dusk
To shield my bruised ego
From the wrath of your cold touch
Every twilight
They tease every desire I held
And poke on the withering magic
Oozing from my shattered heart.

(d.)

Mirror mirror on the wall
Show me who I am
When I come to you hoping
You lie again.

(e.)

I flirt with death through every breath
That keeps alive
Yet I often ask them clock hands
To allow my silhouettes
To paint the next dawn without me
Waiting to contaminate
The sacred unfolding of time.

The image is my artwork on Wonder... A free android app was introduced to me by a friendd.I am in love with its ability to let me create anything that can match the mood of my scribe at any particular moment. This particular piece is called the decaying flowers.
