The electric bass and my beginnings in music
Howdy, Serey. Music has been part of my life since my birth, my mother, a bassoonist and my father a trumpet player, that feeling and musical vein is growing even more knowing that my older brother is a violinist and one of the best in the country. Since I was a child I started playing piano and violin, studying in the Venezuelan orchestra system, learning solfège and execution, but over the years I discovered my true instrument, the double bass. At this stage I combined it with sports and studies, but for reasons of time, I dedicated myself more to sports and studies than to the instrument, but without leaving it.
My participation in orchestral concerts was not many, but I did get in my instrument the necessary bridge to focus my discipline in music. In short, since I was a child I was surrounded by music, I kept close, learning to play my instrument (The Double Bass) over the years I remained always active until an unfortunate traffic accident in 2017, where for several fractures and a slow recovery I had to stay away from the double bass, since, when playing, the pain is very strong, but luckily the position of the electric bass if allows me to tolerate the pain.
In conclusion, since I was young I have been in several bands, starting in orchestral music, but from "5cC", "The cover", "Versus" to my own band "Indeleble" I have played as a bass player, and I have also played bass lines for mexican bands, like "LeFM3" and "la Sampablera". I hope you like this summary of my life as a bass player so far.
