Asia elephant (Elephas maximus), Elephantidae, African elephants (Loxodonta spp, L. africana).
When I was on holiday in Cambodia, last year in Siem Reap in Angkor Thom. I made some pictures of the elephant. I did not want to ride on her, because I felt pity to her. I understood that some tourist, they felt very attractive to get a ride on a poor elephant, but for me those animals should get back their freedom and go back to their own life in the jungle.

We do not have many elephants anymore in Cambodia. In during the war, most of the animals run a way from the country to another country or have been killed by the hunger people and have been sold a way to another country.
