LEARN TO FAST AND PRAY

 > ### And when he was come into the house, the disciple asked him privately, Why could not we cast him out? And he said unto then, This kind can come forth by nothing, but by prayer and fasting. (Mark 9:28-29) ###

Beloved, there is no bondage or captivity too strong and cannot be reversed by prayer and fasting. There is no one too trouble and downcast to seek God in prayer and tasting. Also no environment is too negative or corrupt for a person not to be able to fast and pray. Even Daniel fasted in city of Babylon.

 ## Some benefits of fasting as seen in Daniels life include: *** ### 1 Impartation of supernatural favour and preference. > “Then this Daniel was preferred above the presidents and princes, because an excellent spirit was in him; and the king thought to set him over the whole realm” (Daniel 6:3) ### 2 Unction of uncommon wisdom and revelation. > “As for these four children, God gave them knowledge and skill in all learning and wisdom: and Daniel had understanding in all visions and dreams” (Daniel 1:17). ### 3 Promotion to lasting greatness and relevance. > “And in all matters of wisdom and understanding, that the king inquired of them, he found them ten times better than all the magicians and astrologers that were in all his realm” (Daniel 1:20). ### 4 Provision of speedy answers to prayers. > “Daniel pray after the decree was signed with his window open facing Jerusalem and God heard him” (Daniel 6:10). ###

Friends, there is no problem too complicated or complex that cannot be conquered and subdued through prayer and fasting. Wake up today and declare a fast and that life issue will be arrested in Jesus name.
