Find deals, Fund Deals and Harvest rewards. This always looks very simple in paper, in fact, investing in paper is the easiest that can ever be. Have you ever thought someone how to drive a car with words of mouth? Ohh! It can be very fascinating. You never remember to tell them that the car would jerk at the first trial, because they haven't learned to release their legs from the clutch gradually (for manual car drivers). You see, explaining the process of investing is very easy, and I quite often wonder why most financial books meet the bestseller standard with their trash being sold to us, people who are trying to make money?
You know, most of them do not tell us that they make money from the books they are writing, or the purpose of writing those books were basically for profit making. They make us feel they are writing those books for the purpose of making us understand how to build wealth. When you read a book on investing in stocks, they tell you that Warren Buffett has been making money investing in stocks all through his life, and has been reaping the rewards, well no doubt warren has been doing well in that aspect, but they never mention the fact that at some point in time, luck and proper positioning made him millions. I decided to do something very funny last year, I decided to buy some stocks and kept them with the intention that they would grow, just like it was written in a financial book (the truth is, I bought the stocks with the hope that they might grow, but was just doing it for practical purposes), some weeks back, I checked my stocks, and it was down to almost 100% of what I invested. These financial coaches do not tell us this in their books, they tell you that you make a lot of money from investing in stocks.
Let's see another sector, such as the crypto space. I have seen people say that buying cryptocurrencies would make you rich, but most crypto financial coaches forget to tell you that you are most likely not going to make anything from your investment because the owners of the project could decide to leverage your money to make money and at the end lose your money (just like Luna), or you could out of lucky purchase buy a coin and see up to 1000% increase because Elon Musk decided to say something about the coin (Doge and Shiba holders can testify).
If you want to look into another thing, they come to tell you about investing in agriculture, and telling you that you would make up to 30% in a year, but they do not often include the nitty-gritty of processes where you lose your entire harvest because of mismanagement of funds, or the fact that animals could die due to a disease like Newcastle disease, or bird flu in cases of poultry.
You would be surprised at how much we can do better if a lot of this financial coaches and book writers can be truthful when writing. Selling us the same thing in different words isn't a cool way for us to improve, but it is what we want to hear. If what they were teaching was very easy and practical, virtually everyone in the world should be billionaires by now, because they sell their books in millions of copies. You know, investing is another great phase where you learn from whatever event you find yourself, and grow in the process. Learning from a book isn't always helpful, learning from real experience of people who are sincere to you does a better job.
