*** *** **The word "Asoka" you may have heard often. This word comes from Sanskrit and means free from sadness (soka means sad, a means without). In the same pronunciation, the study of history records a king named Ashoka. Interesting enough to study the story of the king. But on this occasion, what we want to describe is Ashoka the tree with beautiful flowers. It is said that reportedly, a figure who spread Buddhism was born just under the flower tree of Asoka** **The beauty of the Asoka flower is one of the sacred trees in India. Can be found in all regions of India. This flower can also be found in many places in Indonesia. The flowers have a variety of colors including red, orange, and yellow. Many are liked as ornamental plants because the leaves can be formed and the flowers are beautiful**  **Historical documents state that Asoka contains hematoxylin. Recent analysis shows that the refined dried bark of Ashoka contains quite a lot of iron and organic substances. Ashoka does not contain the properties of active alkaloids or volatile oils.
