Discussion Meeting on Communal Harmony and Hajj at Islamic Foundation

Dear reader! Assalamu Alaikum wa Rahmatullah. how are you all Hope all are well by God's grace. I am also fine with your prayers and Allah's infinite mercy. Today's discussion is on " Discussion Meeting on Communal Harmony and Hajj at Islamic Foundation"

Today, an important discussion meeting was organized by the Islamic Foundation, Chapainawabganj. The main topics of the discussion were communal harmony and the significance of Hajj. Religious scholars, mosque imams, madrasa teachers, and people from different walks of life from across the district were present at the event.

The program began with the recitation from the Holy Qur’an, followed by the official proceedings conducted by officers of the Islamic Foundation. The chief guest of the discussion was Mr. Md. Abdus Samad, Deputy Commissioner, Chapainawabganj, while the session was presided over by Mr. Md. Golam Mostafa, Deputy Director, Islamic Foundation, Chapainawabganj.

In his speech, the chief guest Mr. Abdus Samad said that Bangladesh is a shining example of communal harmony. Islam is a religion of peace, where there is no place for communal division. It is the responsibility of every citizen to ensure peace and harmony in society. He also emphasized that no one should be allowed to create division in the name of religion. Along with that, he gave directives to make the activities of the Islamic Foundation more dynamic.

In his presidential speech, Mr. Golam Mostafa mentioned that the Islamic Foundation has always been working for peace, harmony, and the promotion of moral values in society. He pointed out that mosque imams and religious scholars have a vital role to play in building a non-communal Bangladesh.

The significance of Hajj was also highlighted in the discussion. Speakers said that Hajj is not only a mandatory religious duty but also a lesson in self-restraint, patience, equality, and brotherhood. Every year, millions of Muslims from around the world gather in Makkah to submit themselves to Allah. Therefore, the teachings of Hajj should be practiced in daily life.

Participants in the meeting actively joined the discussion and raised various questions. Special focus was given to how the younger generation can be nurtured with the spirit of communal harmony.

The entire event was held in a peaceful atmosphere. At the end of the meeting, guests and participants were thanked, and the program was formally concluded.
