Dear friends!

Assalamu Alaikum wa Rahmatullah.

I hope you are all well with your prayers and with the infinite mercy of Allah. You will definitely like the topic that I will discuss today. " Purity of Intention: The Heart’s Desire is at the Root of Every Deed." I am sharing with you. You must read it carefully.

“Intention” means intention or purpose. In Islam, the evaluation of any action depends on whether it is done for the sake of Allah.

The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said:

“Indeed, the result of every action depends on the intention. And every person will be rewarded according to his intention.”

(Sahih Bukhari, Hadith: 1)

  1. Conditions for an action to be accepted:
  2. It is not enough to act outwardly; if the intention is not pure, then that act of worship will not be accepted.
  3. Same action, different results:
  4. Two people can do the same action, such as giving charity, but one with a pure intention, the other for show. One has a reward, the other does not.
  5. Ordinary actions also become acts of worship:
  6. Such as sleeping, eating, taking care of the family, etc., if they are done with the intention of pleasing Allah, then they also become acts of worship.
  7. Regularly self-criticizing:
  8. Is what I am doing just for show or for Allah?
  9. Avoiding Riya (showing off):
  10. The Prophet (peace be upon him) said, “The minor shirk I fear most for my Ummah is that which is Riya.”
  11. Praying:
  12. “O Allah! Make my deeds pure for You alone.”

Every act of our life should be for Allah, not for show—this consciousness is what makes a believer perfect. Purity of intention is the backbone of Islam. It is through this pure intention that a simple act can become the path to Paradise.
