Dear reader! Assalamu Alaikum wa Rahmatullah. how are you all Hope all are well by God's grace. I am also fine with your prayers and Allah's infinite mercy. Today's discussion is on "This Year’s Holidays Passed Amidst the Monsoon"

This year, most of our public and religious holidays coincided with the monsoon season. Holidays usually mean joy, travel, or gatherings with relatives and loved ones. But the reality this year was somewhat different. Continuous rainfall, rising river water, and even flooding in some areas made the holidays less festive for many.

Eid-ul-Adha, Ashura, and other national holidays—all had to be spent under the shadow of monsoon rains. Many villagers could not leave their homes during the holidays. City dwellers, too, were forced to cancel planned trips or outings because of the rain.

However, it cannot be said that the holidays were completely joyless. Spending time with family at home, enjoying the rain, and arranging small indoor gatherings became sources of happiness for many. Some people said that although this time of the year was not favorable for traveling, the holidays gave them the opportunity to spend more time with their families.

On the other hand, farmers found some relief in the rains. Fields of paddy, jute, and other crops were nourished by the rainfall. For the farming community in the villages, these holidays carried a different kind of significance. Although transportation was somewhat disrupted, the farmers believe that this monsoon rain will be a blessing for the future.

Thus, this year’s holidays will remain as a mixed experience of joy and limitations. While opportunities for travel were few, t~[](he moments spent with family will certainly remain in everyone’s memory. And the rain of the monsoon, which has revived our nature and agriculture, has perhaps been the greatest blessing of this year’s holidays.
