Body Explanation: After mixing its ingredients to make ceramic products, the mixture is naturally called body. This body can be mixed in two ways. Namely the dry process and the dry process.

 When the materials of the product are mixed using water, it is called a wet process or weight process. And the body produced is called a weight body.

On the other hand, if the ingredients of the product are mixed in dry state, it is called dry process or dry process. And the produced body is called the dry body. Again, the body slip that is used to make products in a custom method is called the cake that is used to produce custing pills and ziaring processes.

When it is raw after making the product, his body is called a green body, biscuits after firing it and he is called a fiered body to finally 'firing'.

বডির ব্যাখ্যা : সিরামিক দ্রব্যাদি তৈরি করতে তার উপাদান গুলো মিশ্রিত হওয়ার পর উক্ত মিশ্রণকে স্বাভাবিক ভাবে বডি বলা হয়ে থাকে। এই বডি দুই ভাবে মিশ্রিত করা যায়। যথা সিক্ত প্রক্রিয়া ও শুষ্ক প্রক্রিয়া। যখন পানি ব্যবহার করে দ্রব্যের উপাদান গুলো মিশ্রিত করা হয় তখন তাকে সিক্ত প্রক্রিয়া বা ওয়েট প্রসেস বলা হয়। আর উৎপন্ন বডিকে বলা হয় ওয়েট বডি। পক্ষান্তরে দ্রব্যের উপাদান গুলো যদি শুষ্ক অবস্থায় মিশ্রিত করা হয় তখন তাকে শুষ্ক প্রক্রিয়া বা ড্রাই প্রসেস বলা হয়। এবং উৎপন্ন বডিকে বলা হয় ড্রাই বডি। আবার কাষ্টিং পদ্ধতিতে দ্রব্যাদি তৈরি করার জন্য যে বডি স্লিপ ব্যবহার করা হয় তাকে কাষ্টিং বড়ি এবং জিয়ারিং প্রক্রিয়ার দ্রব্যাদি তৈরি করার জন্য যে কেক ব্যবহার করা হয় তাকে জিগার বডি বলা হয়ে থাকে। দ্রব্য তৈরি করার পর যখন তা কাঁচা অবস্থায় থাকে তখন তার বডিকে গ্রীন বডি, বিস্কুট ফায়ারিং করার পর তাকে বিস্কুট বড়ি এবং চূড়ান্ত ভাবে 'ফায়ারিং করার তাকে ফায়ারড বডি বলা হয়। উপরোক্ত আলোচনা হতে আমরা বলতে পারি ব্যবহারিক ক্ষেত্রে বড়ি শব্দটির অর্থ ব্যাপক। এখানে আমরা বড়ি বলতে মূলতঃ দ্রব্যের উপাদানগুলো মিশ্রিত করে যে মিশ্রণ পাওয়া যায় তাকেই বডি হিসাবে বিবেচনা করব।
