Individuals and groups may create their own digital societies on Serey. This creates an ecosystem of communities that can offer coherent and values-consistent environments. Because human perspectives differ, disputes will arise. Platform operators may enforce their rules to maintain community standards. When operators err, or when disagreements escalate, independent digital courts powered by AI agents adjudicate cases with the aim of consistency and fairness. Users may appeal AI decisions to the Admin Nodes—the participants who operate the core network infrastructure and hold final oversight authority. The Admin Nodes can review rulings, overturn them when justified, replace underperforming AI systems, or select alternative decision models. To discourage frivolous appeals, each appeal requires a payment in SRY tokens, which serve as utility units within the system. Governance of the Admin Nodes remains decentralized. Every user may vote, with voting weight determined by the amount of SRY held. This prevents the creation of unlimited accounts from distorting outcomes and ensures meaningful stake corresponds to influence. If the community becomes dissatisfied, it can vote to replace the Admin Nodes.
