Hello friends how are you all? Hope you all are very well, I am also very well with your prayers and God's grace.

The greatest gift to a man in this world is to wish him peace, and through salam a man is wished for peace. This requires more salutations, and if one is sending to another person it is better to first mention the salutation. Today I will share with you an incident about giving salam.

Hazrat Ash'at bin Qays and Hazrat Jarir bin Abdullah Bajli, these two companions of the Prophet. Once these two gentlemen came to meet Hazrat Salman Farsi RA, Hazrat Salman Farsi RA lived in a corner of the city of Madain, there was a tent which was his Gujr, these men went to the tent and greeted him and prayed. : Hayak Allah (May Allah save you).

Then they both asked: Are you Salman Farsi?

Hazrat Salman Farsi said: Yes! I am Salman Farsi.

They both asked: Are you a companion of the Prophet (PBUH)?

Hazrat Salman Farsi (RA) said that it is not known.

They both became suspicious and thought to themselves: Perhaps it is not Salman Farsi whom we want to meet; So they began to return. When Hazrat Salman Farsi saw that they were coming back, he said to them: Stop, stop, Hey! I am Salman, whom you want to meet. I saw the Holy Prophet (PBUH) and sat in his Majlis; But the companion of the Messenger of Allah, may God bless him and grant him peace, is actually the person who was in the company of the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, and died in that state. He went to heaven with faith and with the Prophet (PBUH); But I don't know anything about myself, in what condition will I die? That is why when you asked me whether you are a companion of Huzur or not. So I said: I don't know. That's the real thing. Now tell me what is the matter? Why did you come to me?

They both said: A brother of yours lives in the land of Syria, from him we have come.

Hazrat Salman Farsi asked, who is he?

Both of them said: He is Hazrat Abu Darda RA.

Hazrat Salman Farsi (RA) said: Where is the gift that was sent with you?

They both said: He sent no gift with us.

Hazrat Salman Farsi (RA) said: Fear Allah and give me the deposit you have brought. For whoever has come to me from them to this day has certainly brought a gift from them.

Both said: Hazrat! The truth is that they did not give any kind of gift, yes! We have all kinds of products and resources, you can take whatever you want from them, it is approved by us.

Hazrat Salman Farsi (RA) said: I do not want to take your property or goods, I want to take the gift that he has sent with both of you.

Both said: By Allah! They did not send anything with us, but they told us that you have a very honorable man living here, his name is Salman Farsi, whom the Holy Prophet (PBUH) trusted a lot, when he (PBUH) used to talk to him privately. If they did, they would not invite anyone else with them; So when you both approach them, greet them on my behalf.

Hazrat Salman Farsi said: Hey brother! I was asking for this gift and talking about it over and over and you were getting worried. Please tell me! What better gift can be sent to someone than Salam? This is a blessed message from Allah.

As we greet our Muslim brothers while walking on the street, or we greet our family members when we enter a house, or when we go to someone's house we greet those whom we meet or if someone visits relatives, then his Send greetings to them through.

Thanks everyone for reading my post today.
