Last night, a YouTuber named Pinaki Bhattacharya tried to spread a rumor about the army. He said that there was a coup in the army and called on people to take to the streets.
But in reality, nothing like this is happening. The army is doing its job properly. There is no unusual situation in the country either.
These fake YouTubers try to provoke people by talking nonsense while sitting abroad, but people are no longer as easily misunderstood as before. I am grateful to everyone for the way the people have remained calm without listening to rumors.
But now is the time — the government must take action against the people spreading these rumors. They should not be given any opportunity to try to create instability in the country.
I request everyone, if you see such fake news or rumors anywhere, report it immediately. Be aware, make others aware.
The army is our pride — a conspiracy against them means a conspiracy against the country. Let us stand together against these rumormongers.
