I am a dreamer -

A functioning dreamer

I gaze at nature in wonder

From the birds to the sea

From the sun to the moon and stars

 

I sit and dream about being them

What would it be like to be a bird?

Flying freely about, happily

What would it be like to be

the waves of the sea?

Moving like that with such fun

 

Imagine being the sun,

Smiling so bright like that and giving warmth.

What would it feel like, being the moon?

Shining gloriously with the stars as it's company upon the dark earth

 

I dream too of the future I am oblivious of

I dream of success and achievements

Of happiness, I might reach at certain stages

Of sacrifices, I must offer at a certain age

I dream about those too and I am curious

As to what will be the end of me...
