[Poem] The Weight of Truth

rada11219

Truth, a heavy crown to wear,

A burden some would choose to share.

It cuts like diamonds, sharp and bright,

Exposing falsehood, day and night.

The liar's mask, it cracks and peels,

The hidden wound, truth gently heals.

But some may flinch, from light so strong,

Clinging to shadows, right or wrong.

For comfort oft in darkness lies,

While truth demands a sacrifice.

To stand alone, a voice so clear,

Unflinching heart, to hold it dear.

Yet, truth will conquer in the end,

A guiding light, a trusted friend.

Though shadows linger, doubt may rise,

Truth's steady flame will pierce the skies.
