Beneath the granite, cold and stark,
A hidden world leaves its mark.
Hot springs bubble, a fiery breath,
Life finds a way, defying death.
Wildflowers bloom, in vibrant hues,
Painting the slopes, with morning dew.
Bighorn sheep, on rocky ledge,
Survey their kingdom, without a pledge.
The mountain's heart, a beating drum,
Echoes with whispers, as ages come.
A silent guardian, watching below,
Where life unfolds, in constant flow.
We stand in awe, at its mighty base,
Feeling the power, a sacred space.
The mountain teaches, with every breath,
Respect for nature, defying death.
