What To Do When The Attacker Pulls Your Head Down To Hit You

Does it make any difference the way you stand? It does in a fight. The way you stand and position yourself can help you defend against attack. Or, the attacker may find it difficult to attack you from that angle. 

If the attacker grabs your neck, pulls your head down, and hits your back with his elbow, what can you do in that situation? Let's watch this video and see what it looks like.  When you stand straight in front of the attacker in a straight line, the attacker can easily pull your head down to attack you.

If you move your body at a 45-degree angle and stand to the side, that will not make it easy for the attacker to pull your head down like this. You will have the advantage to prevent the attacker.

When the attacker grabs your neck to pull you down, you can parry and move his hand. As a result, the attacker cannot force you to put your head down. The attacker can only grab your neck if you are in close range. 

While the attacker is about to grab your neck, you can step back and make the distance. Just this simple move is enough to fail the attacker's attempt. In a kicking range, the attacker cannot punch you or grab you. You can kick the attacker and stop him.

Somehow you stand close to the attacker in a straight line and the attacker pulls your head down, you can grab the attacker's one leg and pull. Then make him off balance and throw him on the ground.

By the way, the attacker is going to hit your back with his elbow and that's why he grabs your neck and pulls you down. You can strike him before he hits you. And the closest target can be his groin since he stands close to you. Once you hit the target, you do not need to do much to release your neck. The attacker has already moved his hand away from your neck.
