Chief Sephardic Rabbi says 'no such thing as Palestinian people'

In an address at the Gush Katif museum in Jerusalem, Israel's Chief Sephardi Rabbi David Yosef asserted Israel's right to all of occupied Palestine, declaring that "Gaza is ours" and "we will return there".

Rabbi Yosef added that "there is no such thing as a Palestinian people" and "they do not have rights".

One of Israel's two main spiritual leaders, the Rabbi's remarks come amid unprecedented settlement expansion in the occupied West Bank.
