95% of us are living better than we were yesterday.' "If you do research one day, you will find that even the beggars of the country live a better life than their parents." Their parents used to beg all over the city and bring home only ten to twenty rupees, while the beggars of Karachi and Lahore today earn six to seven thousand rupees a day. earn
One day you can compare your childhood and your children's childhood. You will find the difference between the two.

A bicycle was a symbol of happiness and the owner of a motorcycle was considered rich, a car was only rented, there was a regular dhenga mushti to enter buses and trains, sacks were given and clothes were torn. 'One child of the house was dedicated to fixing the TV antenna' he used to run till midnight to the sound of "Oy Navide" and climb on the mat and slowly rotate the antenna from right to left and till then It would keep spinning until the whole family would shout "Oi bus" from downstairs. There was only one bathroom and one toilet in the whole house and its door was always ringing from outside. All the bazaars used mosque toilets. There was a queue in front of the mosque bathroom for bathing. They used to burn wood under the baths in winter and people would stand under the hot water inside the baths and when the barber would say to them, "Bao ji, the water has run out", he would shave with it. They used to ask for oil and people used to carry bread in a "poon" of cloth and take it to the office.

Children were also sent to school with pickles on roti or paratha and during the "lunch break" they used to break this lunch and drink tap water and this was the time when food was not 'food' but roti. Even the richest and the poorest person used to call dinner or lunch bread only. People used to invite people to bread instead of food and this is not a very old thing. has reached here through
Ask anyone and you will find every middle-aged Pakistani with a bicycle fall mark on his leg and memories of antennas and coal rings and the warm air of a floor fan. Life had started. What a grace of Allah, he has brought us from where to where! Believe me, nature gives the gift of such a great change to very few people after a generation. If he goes, he will not find much difference in the lifestyle of Europe except for electric trains and automobiles, whereas if we go back only thirty years, we will be in a different world.

But the question is, why are we not happy despite so much development, so much happiness and so much change in lifestyle? Whenever I ask myself this question, only one answer comes to my mind 'ungratefulness' our life is basically lack of gratitude 'we are ungrateful' you must have heard the English word Dissatisfaction'. It's not just a word, it's a terrible mental illness and people suffering from this disease are deprived of the bliss of solace.
You must have often seen people drink water, but their thirst is not quenched even after drinking water. They will drink until it dissolves into ice, but still their tongue is hanging out. Some of us "all di Time" are also hungry. They faint after eating but their hunger does not go away and some of us are not rich despite earning billions and trillions of rupees. Why? You ever thought! Because these people are sick and the name of their disease is "disease infection"

Despite these countless blessings of God, there is an aspect of ungratefulness in man. There are different forms of ungratefulness. Makes you ungrateful. Form of ungratefulness of the organs: Use all the organs in the works of obedience and obedience to Allah.
Ingratitude in wealth and means: Seeing someone's wealth and house and thinking that so-and-so has so much wealth, but I barely eat two meals a day, so-and-so has a luxurious house, but I live in a dilapidated two-room house. live.
Ingratitude in Mansab Waqtdar: Similarly, seeing someone's Mansab Waqtdar (Status) and thinking that his servants are servants, keep moving back and forth, comes in a car, etc. One aspect of ingratitude is that the biggest influence in this matter is also the desire of the soul. That is why it is said that "the cup of human desires is never filled because there are holes in it of ingratitude". Remedy: Those who have been dealt with should not look down on worldly blessings, for example if they have the facility of a motorcycle, then instead of looking at the car owner, he should look at the bicycle owner, the bicycle owner should travel on foot. Look at the person, thus the aspect of ungratefulness will not come to mind.
On the other hand, consider the virtues of gratitude that the Holy Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: Allah bestows gratitude upon His servants, and then He does not deprive them of an excess of blessings, because His Majesty has said:
Translation of Kunz al-Iman: If you accept kindness, I will give you more, and if you are ungrateful, My punishment is severe.
We should keep thanking our Lord and seek forgiveness that despite our committing a thousand and a thousand sins, Allah Almighty does not withhold His sustenance from us. May you be enriched and blessed with gratitude for these blessings
