Russia has finally started delivering S-400 long-range air defense systems to India. Dmitry Shugayev, a senior official at Russia's Federal Service for Military-Technical Corporation, confirmed the allegations. He also confirmed that the first batch of troops from India had completed training on the S-400 air defense system in July this year and another batch of members from India was undergoing training on the same. The deployment will start after receiving. India will be the first to deploy S-400 air defense systems near the Chinese border in Ladakh and Arunachal Pradesh. Note that India had agreed to purchase 5 Regiment S-400 air defense systems from Russia in 2016 at a cost of US 5.43 billion.
But now that the S-400 air defense system has been delivered in India, the most important thing is what the United States decides. However, as part of the Indo-Pacific Strategy, India can evade US sanctions and is more likely not to fall. With the passage of this S-400 air defense system to India, India's capability in regional power will naturally increase, while India's neighbors will be under pressure.
