Donald Trump threw himself into Biden's "failed" policy of Mexico - "Destruction of our country!

DONALD TRUMP fell into Joe Biden in an explosive new interview where the former President's successor said he was "destroying our country."

Mr. Trump claimed to presenter Dick Morris that his administration left Mr. Biden with a strong border policy and that his successor "should do nothing" to keep immigration under control.
He said: "If he did nothing, we would have the strongest border in history right now.
" All he had to do was do nothing... I've settled everything with other countries, be it Guatemala, Honduras, El Salvador. “Mexico,” Trump said.
“And even Mexico, stay in Mexico. In other words,
"And it put an end to it. It's crazy what they're doing."
The former US President also speculated whether Mr. Biden facilitated the restrictions on the Mexican border through his incompetence or by secretly pursuing open borders
: "The question is, are they doing this out of incompetence? Which came to mind. Or because they believe open borders are good for this country? are they doing?"
" We had the strongest in our country's history.
"Very few people. The drugs are very low. Human trafficking has been virtually stopped.
"We've done amazing things and look what's happening now. Let me tell you this: They're taking people out of prisons. They're opening their prisons. Their prisoners are coming, their killers, their drugs" addicts, and drug dealers, by the way.
"And when it comes traffickers. They take them in. Inside they want. They do not want their country, 'send' they say. The United States. '"
Earlier this month, Mr. Biden's management, announced that Mr. Trump would loosen restrictions on coronaviruses brought to asylum seekers.
Under Mr. Trump's rules, which went into effect in March last year, citizens of Mexico, Guatemala, Honduras, and El Salvador are typically deported to Mexico within two hours without any opportunity for asylum or other humanitarian protection.
The current President has exempted unaccompanied children from the policy, but like nearly every adult, one in three people who come into families are still subject to them.
Mr. Biden also said cases of families arriving at the US border with Mexico on Friday would be followed quickly in immigration court.
In April, a Department of Homeland Security official told CNN Customs and Border Protection that he encounters an average of fewer than 6,000 people a day at the southern border.
In the first three weeks of April, approximately 122,000 people were encountered by US border officials on the southwestern border.

Homeland Security Minister Alejandro Majorkas acknowledged that border crossings "remain high", but voiced the administration's progress in reducing the number of children in U.S. Border Patrol custody last month.
He told CBS 'This Morning': “The numbers remain high, it has yet to be determined whether it was higher until March.
