Dogecoin began as a meme cryptocurrency released in 2013.  Amazingly, it is ranked 26th by marketcap on Coinmarketcap (above STEEM at #51) and has a total marketcap of $349,741,379.  Dogecoin's price per coin is $0.002.  Dogecoin follows the rise and fall of Bitcoin, and rarely rises in price above $0.01.  It's easy to mine, transfer, trades on exchanges including Huobi and Bittrex and is gambled extensively. The three main strengths of Dogecoin as a cryptocurrency are it's low transaction fees, speed of transfer and infinite supply to regulate price.  The coin's major weakness is it's strength- infinite supply.  Dogecoin is currently in buy range, and has been punished along with the broad cryptocurrency market.  Dogecoin's all time high occurred during the cryprocurrency bubble of 2017 at approximately $0.028.  Dogecoin will crest over $0.01 during the next Bitcoin "golden cross", and as Bitcoin approaches it's halving of rewards in May of 2020.
