It was using capital from the company's balance sheet; Fidelity launched its fund to invest in companies related to cryptocurrencies and crypto in the fall of 2017. This Fidelity's short known crypto venture fund is back in action.
The project went on intervals after two major members, former Fidelity VP Matt Walsh and its former research analyst Nick Carter left the company to launch Castle Island Ventures of the crypto-focused venture capital firm.
According to a report by this block, the rebooted crypto fund is being described as "bigger" than its earlier repetition. This fidelity fund is with long-time equity analyst Sachin Patodia.
